Cutting Edge Media Ltd. is a sister company of Cutting Edge Signs Ltd.
Cutting Edge Signs was established in 1999 by David Guthardt (Gus) and has been the leading sign manufacturer in the Nelson-Tasman region ever since.

 

From 2016 the business is owned by David’s son Matthew Guthardt and Arko Biswas. They have maintained their “cutting edge” reputation and invested in technology and in a multitalented team of skilled designers and craftsmen. Cutting Edge is the only sign maker in the region with health and safety Green Certificate from SiteSafe and the only one in the industry to be a Climate Positive operation in Nelson Bays region.

The company has been supplying signage to NCC and TDC for over two decades and maintains a strong relationship with organisations such as DOC, Port Nelson, Nelson Airport, Pic’s, NPD, NMIT, Nelson Provincial Museum, Rutherford Hotel, Kaiteriteri Trust, Richmond Mall and many prominent outfits in the Nelson Tasman region.

Cutting Edge Media is a natural progression from traditional signage to digital displays. However, as traditional sign business, we could not just start selling these without gaining knowledge and developing the skill sets to maintain hardware and software. Since 2018 we have invested in research and development and build up a team that knows digital displays in and out.
